Easter Weekend

We took Mary Beth down to Monument Ave for the parade......despite numerous bands, dogs, and street performers, nothing interupted Mary Beth's beauty sleep!

Mary Beth enjoyed (not) her first bath yesterday. Her parents enjoyed the afro that it seemed to give her....not to mention the long stretches of sleep they got afterwards!

She's Here!!!!!!!

Mary Elizabeth Hallett arrived at 7.12pm on March 5th. She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20.5 inches. Both mom and Mary Beth are doing great!

24 hours and waiting........

We are in the hospital entering the 25th hour since Susan's water broke. Before anyone says "What the **** is John doing on the computer!?!?!" the best thing for Susan is sleep, and I'm beside her in the room while she tries to catch up on sleep for the big moment. It's 4pm on March 5th, and the doctor seems to think Susan should deliver in the early morning of March 6th.

A quick nursery tour...

We figured we'd pass our time waiting to take a little tour of the baby's room!
