Happy Holidays!

On the last weekend before we welcome the newest member of our family, we got in some holiday fun.

We picked out our tree...

And got it all decorated.

MB got a little help from Daddy to top our tree with a star.

We had breakfast with Santa and some of our friends (Gary on the left, Sean on the right).

Everyone was excited to see Santa...a very different experience from last year!

Then we got to take a trolley ride.

We have had a busy month so far!

This weekend we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went apple picking at Carter Mountain with our friends.
Mary Beth was a good picker...

And an even better eater!

October also brought the Richmond Folk Festival. We spent the weekend getting our groove on. MB got warmed up on Friday night.

And then really danced up a storm on Saturday.

Phew, all that dancing is exhausting!

We also hit the kids area and did some crafts...here is Super Girl in her handmade mask.

Mom also worked hard at the Festival, helping to organize a community art project.

Early in the month we went to Virginia Beach with our friends the Morris family. We hit a great zoo. Mary Beth and Gary had so much fun.

September!

We kicked off the month with the first day of school!
And celebrated our newly renovated back porch.

On September 11th, in honor of the 10th anniversary, we spent the day with the Richmond Fire Department - Station 10.

We worked hard, cleaning the fire trucks.
Mary Beth really got into it! We said thank you to the fire fighters for keeping us safe.
